Must-sees for a weekend on the Ile de Ré


The Baleines lighthouse


Inaugurated in 1854 and listed as a historic monument, the 60-metre Baleines lighthouse is one of the highest in France.

After climbing its 257 steps, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Ile de Ré.

The villages of the Ile de Ré


Each village on the Ile de Ré has its own character.

Saint-Martin-de-Ré, with its Vauban fortifications, is a real architectural gem.
