La Conche des Baleines


Head to the north of the island to discover La Conche des Baleines, one of the most emblematic beaches on the Île de Ré.

You will fall under the spell of its immense stretch of fine sand, which stretches between the Baleines lighthouse and Portes-en-Ré.

An ideal beach for families, water sports enthusiasts and fans of shore fishing.
At the end of the day, the Conche des Baleines becomes a magical observation point: you will be treated to one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.


Trousse-Chemise


If you are looking for a preserved beach, far from the hustle and bustle, take the shaded path of the Trousse-Chemise woods and let yourself be surprised by a breathtaking landscape.
Known thanks to Charles Aznavour, this beach offers a wild and peaceful setting, where the pine forest borders the white sand and where the famous Banc du bûcheron, visible at low tide, attracts the curious.


La Patache beach


Nestled south of Portes-en-Ré, La Patache beach is a real gem for lovers of preserved nature. Far from the busy beaches, it offers a wild and peaceful setting.
With its breathtaking view of the Atlantic, this beach is perfect for a picnic break after a hike or for a walk by the sea.

It is also a favorite place for sailing enthusiasts, who find a popular anchorage spot for boaters.


Rivedoux-Plage


This is the only town on the island bordered by two sandy beaches. To the north, the beach stretches for 1.4 km between the bridge and the port of Rivedoux, offering a panoramic view of the Pertuis Breton.
Renowned for its oyster farms visible at low tide, it also attracts kitesurfing and boating enthusiasts.
To the south, you can walk along 2 km of fine sand, up to the Pointe de Chauveau.


La Couarde-sur-Mer


Located in the heart of the Île de Ré, this charming village is bordered by magnificent beaches. To the south, a vast 5 km beach of fine sand stretches from Prises to Petites Folies
Renowned by surfers from all over the world, La Pergola beach is a must-see spot.
Take the path along the dunes to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Pertuis d’Antioche.
